This rare guitar belongs to the few electric models manufactured by Taylor, designed to enter the semi-hollow market. Its construction combines a sapele semi-hollow body with a quilted maple top, a bolt-on sapele neck, and an ebony fretboard, achieving a balance between elegance and sonic character.
It is equipped with two Taylor Style 2 HD pickups, offering great versatility: they can function as humbuckers or be transformed into single-coils using the push/pull volume pot. Additionally, the tone pot allows you to activate an extra capacitor, providing a darker, deeper tone.
Among its high-end features are Schaller M6 tuners with the Taylor logo, a bridge with rolling saddles, and a Bigsby B7 tremolo, which complete its aesthetics and functionality.
As a distinctive touch, this guitar was signed by Chris Cain in 2015.
