This Marshall 4×12 cabinet was produced in 1972 during the golden age of British amplifiers (known as the transition from the Plexi era to the JMP era). Marshall used rectangular or round metal plates with 4 or 5-digit sequential numbers stamped on their cabinets, a numbering system completely separate from that used on their amplifier heads. This cabinet belonged to Norberto “Pappo” Napolitano.
