The Neumann U67 is a large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone introduced in 1960, considered one of the greatest milestones and workhorses in the history of studio recording. Originally designed to replace the iconic U47, the U67 defined the smooth, warm, and three-dimensional sound of music from the 1960s and 70s. This particular example dates from 1963 and comes factory-fitted with a Telefunken EF86 tube and a classic external power supply, the NU67u.
