This guitar belonged to Kirk Hammett, legendary lead guitarist of Metallica since 1983, considered one of the most influential musicians in thrash metal and heavy metal worldwide.
Before joining Metallica, he founded the band Exodus and is still recognized today for his fast, melodic style and his passion for horror films.
Handcrafted in Japan in 2022, it is one of only 30 units made in this exclusive finish and features a neck-through construction. Its three-piece maple neck is joined to a two-piece alder body, while the ebony fretboard incorporates scalloped frets between the 17th and 24th frets.
Equipped with EMG KH Bone Breaker active pickups powered by a 9V battery, it delivers the power and definition characteristic of Hammett’s sound.
This Red Ouija board was used by Hammett until the 2022 WorldWired Tour and bears his signature, making it a unique and historically valuable piece.
