Kustom tuck-and-roll speaker cabinets are true icons of rock’s golden age. Originally produced by Kustom Electronics in the 1960s and 70s, these cabinets are immediately recognizable for their Naugahyde vinyl padding, directly inspired by the modified seats of classic hot rods. The distinctive quilted upholstery came in striking colors such as classic black, bright blue, red, charcoal, and the coveted gold sparkle. This particular cabinet features two JBL D140-F speakers, specifically designed for electric bass due to their large 15-inch voice coil; however, these cabinets were often used for both bass and guitar. This particular example belonged to John Fogerty, who used it with his band Creedence Clearwater Revival.
