This guitar belonged to Jeff Beck’s private collection. It is one of two instruments built in 1996 by J.W. Black at the Fender Custom Shop specifically for Beck with the B-Bender system. It features an alder Telecaster-style body and a flamed maple Stratocaster neck with a rosewood fretboard. Its specifications include a compensated steel nut, Sperzel locking tuners, and a B-Bender bridge operated from the strap button.
The combination of these elements reflects Beck’s quest for a versatile and unique instrument, custom-designed for his unmistakable style.
This guitar is treasured at La Roca Power Studio.
