The Gibson GA-79 RVT (manufactured between 1960 and 1965) is a legendary stereo amplifier designed for guitars with dual outputs. It features two independent preamps, 35 watts of power, and two 10-inch Jensen speakers angled at 45° for immersive reverb. It delivers 15 watts per channel or 30 watts in mono mode and includes tremolo and reverb. The circuit uses 6BQ5 tubes (also known as EL84s) in the power stage.
