Gibson Les Paul Standard “Birthday Burst“ (1959) The Holy Grail

This guitar is one of only 643 units produced by Gibson during its golden age, at the legendary Kalamazoo factory in 1959. Built with a mahogany body and neck, maple top, and rosewood fretboard, it boasts the iconic characteristics of that era: medium profile, thin frets, nylon nut, ABR-1 bridge, and Kluson tuners.

This is an exceptional example, in near-mint condition, equipped with the coveted PAF (Patent Applied For) pickups, introduced in 1957 and considered the most sought-after of all time. This unique instrument was featured at the Les Paul Centennial celebration in New York, cementing its place in music history.

This guitar is treasured in the vault of La Roca.
