This guitar is one of Gibson’s earliest neck-through models, from the last year of its original production run before the redesign.
It features a mahogany body and a 9-piece mahogany and walnut neck with a slim ’60s profile.
Its distinctive sound is due to its mini-humbucker pickups with no visible pole pieces. It has banjo-style tuning machines and an ABR-1 bridge with a vibrato tuner.
