This classic Jazz Bass boasts a typical CBS-era Fender aesthetic, with its alder body and a thin maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. It features a 1.5-inch wide nut with a U-shaped profile. It includes mother-of-pearl block inlays and binding, medium jumbo frets, 1970s-era Fender Clover tuners, and a slotted saddle bridge (except for one saddle, which has been replaced). Electronically, it incorporates two single-coil Fender Jazz pickups, each with its own volume control, and a single tone control.
This bass guitar is the one Alejandro Medina used in the recording of Manal’s reunion concert at Red House in 2014.
