The 1978 Fender Bassman 135 is a colossal amplifier from the late Silverface era. It’s famous for being one of the amplifiers with the most headroom ever built by Fender, originally designed for bass, but highly coveted by guitarists and keyboardists for its clean, crystalline tone.
The Bassman 135 model (named for its 135 watts RMS of power thanks to its four 6L6GC tubes and oversized transformers) was introduced at the end of the Silverface era.
The cabinet is a Marshall model 1960 BHW, with a straight front, four 12-inch Celestion G12H30 speakers, hand-wired and with its grille in silver color.
