The Gibson J-180 is one of the brand’s most iconic and visually distinctive acoustic guitars.
Released in 1962, it was distinguished by its small jumbo body, its comfortable neck with the thin profile characteristic of the 1960s, and the unmistakable mother-of-pearl star inlays.
This particular example, from 1963, used to belong to the Everly brothers and was used on live performances, is preserved in its original, unmodified condition, making it a true testament to Gibson’s heritage and the golden age of its acoustic guitars.
Today, this guitar is treasured at La Roca Power Studio.
