This guitar belonged to the personal collection of David Lebón, one of the most emblematic guitarists and multi-instrumentalists in Argentine rock.
The instrument was an integral part of his stage presence, having been used in numerous concerts throughout his extensive career.
To speak of Lebón is to trace the rich history of Argentine music, with his indelible mark on foundational bands such as Pescado Rabioso, Serú Girán, Pappo’s Blues, Color Humano, and Polifemo, in addition to his ongoing solo career, which began in 1982. Beyond its historical value, the instrument stands out for its unique configuration. While it evokes the design of the classic Gibson SG Custom with three Classic ’57 pickups, this model features custom electronics: a single volume control, a tone control, and a Vari-tone style selector switch. This system multiplies the coil combinations, achieving a much wider sonic palette than conventional guitars. As for its construction, it features a mahogany body and neck, a rosewood fretboard, Kluson Deluxe tuners, and an ABR-1 bridge with a Stop-Bar tailpiece in an elegant gold finish.
