The Tama Signature CB1465 snare drum is a model developed by the renowned brand in collaboration with Charlie Benante, the legendary drummer of the thrash metal band Anthrax. It is specifically designed to deliver high volume, a ferocious attack, and maximum durability in high-power situations on stage. This instrument boasts a wide tuning range, shining in both mid-to-high tunings for a piercing “crack“ and lower tones for a heavy, full-bodied sound. Its 14″ x 6.5″ dimensions provide slightly greater depth than standard, contributing to increased body and bass response. The shell is constructed of 1.2 mm thick stainless steel with a polished finish and a beaded center. It features 10-hole die-cast hoops and a 20-strand Starclassic Carbon snare system.
