Ampeg SVT Blue Line (1972)+ Ampeg SVT 810 (1972)

This SVT was built in 1972, a pivotal year in which Magnavox acquired Ampeg. The amplifier is considered the holy grail for bass players because it combines the best of both worlds: it retains the beautiful blue lines of the original design on the aluminum panel, but inside it already features the legendary 6550 tubes. Essentially, a 300-watt war machine that roars with a fat, aggressive tone and a midrange response that no modern amplifier has been able to replicate. Later that same year, the design was changed to black lines, so this particular example belongs to the last and finest batch of the original Blueline amps.

The cabinet is an eight 10-inch speakers, also from 1972.
